Comment:

 OK, Spanish is present as language to tranlsate a new BUT when I create a
 translated new it not appears as an alternative for English content,
 although a new "new" appears.

 I have to use it more (with caution) to know what's happening. I close
 that ticket untill I check it deeply.

 Lorenzo, I think you are right if the news box was updated frequently, but
 at least for the news of that year, they are sparse; so, at least for
 Spanish, I think I'm able to translate them.
