[Webcom] [OSGeo-Discuss] OSGeo upcoming events list needs love

Option 2 in detail...
Temporarily disable the i18n functionality and observe the effect on the
site.
I believe the result will be that all visitors will see all the news and
event content (not limited to their language). Therefore we'll see mostly
English with the occasional post in other languages.

Disabling a drupal module does not touch the database, so re-enabling would
put everything back to the current state if the outcome was
unexpected/undesired.

Of course there's always the chance that I could be wrong, especially given
the amount of customisation the site has. Usually I would make an off like
copy of the whole site and test the hypothesis in a sandbox first.
