my work here, to make sure the gap between vocational high school and
industry , is getting less and less

here, in indonesia we produce 7 million high school graduate, and 50%
cannot work.. and only 10% can go to university, but because the
university program getting worst here, mostly 40% of the undergradute
cannot work.

goverment here also is not as good as we know, but i got info, all
goverment all smiliar world wide ;)

so my job right now to train people mostly in high school, make a
curriculum for them, and i discussed this idea with Geoff Zeiss last
september in San Fransisco @ Oracle OpenWorld, we met there, mostly
every year ;) hopefully next september

now our program is more bigger, i put Java, PHP, and Linux and we want
GIS there, Geoff donate the Map Guide training, and we will try to
make mapServer available, but we are very busy we have several problem
here.

1. the goverment work slow amazingly, and mostly the work now become
our work, from curriculu, online exam, and make sure the student work
after graduate, and also internship here, and the teacher also have
problem.

2. we need global program that support or a global program that can be
distrubte here, i am glad if OSGeo also have this program for Asia :)
or developemnt country, right now i try to promote Map Guide because
we have :"Autodesk" brand and the most complete one

any comment for this program?
