Hi all<br><br>I think we should rip our own LiveDVD including ZOO packages, and part of the OSGeo stack.<br>I think including ZOO Kernel, MapServer and OpenLayers makes sense, as people can setup WPS and WMS server + client application, using those three only.<br>
<br>Including GRASS could also be a good idea, as Soeren already made some integration tests (will not be use in WS)<br><br>We must have such a material for our Workshop, and for distributing during FOSS4G of course.<br><br>
We could also think of a jacket with ZOO, OSGeo and OGC logo only.<br><br>Discs and jacket will include small costs, and we'd better think of it very soon<br>(may be from ZOO sponsors ?)<br><br>Please tell me what you think<br>

pirate DVD's are on sale on the streets), I have started to<br>
think that the whole LiveDVD idea is a bad marketing ploy.<br>
I do not know how many of those LiveDVD's are actually put<br>
to proper use.<br>

There must be some monetary value attached (however small it<br>
maybe) to the high-quality software that OSGeo is serving.<br>
Perhaps, buy one OSGeo T-Shirt (20$) and get all the great<br>
software as a gift would be a better strategy.<br>
<br>
For ZOO, maybe we think of other way to distribute at<br>
FOSS4G2010.<br>
