Subject: [OSGeo Africa] Anyone interested in...

Some open source training?

I am going to run the uDig course at some point in the four weeks in
greater in Jo'burg or Petoria as interest dictates. If anyone else is
interested we can try and arrange things for greater numbers. The
course covers uDig, GeoServer and GeoTools and enough open standards to
tie them together.

After hearing about Justin's experience running a similar course for FAO

I should mention that this course is for developers, and the site of
Java and XML should not scare anyone :-) (Part of the fun of focusing
on a making uDig user friendly is that we do not really get to run
courses for users, if it is does not work out of the box it is
considered a bug).

Hope everyone is well, sorry I did not make the leap over to the new
email address promptly.
Jody
