Key performance areas:
Maintain and update fundamental geographic data for use by internal/external users
Determine and draw sample areas according to user specifications
Provide geographic support services for Stats SA’s surveys and censuses
Develop policies and operational plans for map production
Provide geo-coded businesses for analysis and dissemination and regionalising of social-economic information
Assist with the training of map reading to users
Develop training manuals
Manage human and financial resources
Perform advance spatial functions, commands and data analysis and queries.
Deadline: 16 November 2007.
