[OSGeo Africa] FW: [OSGeo-Discuss] Google Summer of Code 2008

Note that the Google Open Source office (who run the summer of code) 
really does not want it to be northern hemisphere centric, but realize 
it ends up that way with it being 'summer'.  But I know the people who 
run SoC actively are trying to get more involvement from southern 
hemisphere, so if you have ideas on how to encourage that more feel free 
to pass them along.
