Betreff: LIivestreaming during GEOSTAT summer school - Free analysis of
spatio-temporal data including GRASS GIS

Dear all,

the GEOSTAT Summer school 2011 in Landau will run from the 24th to the
31st of July in Landau and focuses on 
important aspects of statistical analysis of spatial and spatio-temporal
data using open source / free GIS tools: 
R, SAGA GIS,GRASS GIS, FWTools, Google Earth and similar. The course
participants learn how to move data 
back and forth between the different environments; how to produce
scripts and automate analysis.
The summer school will include a 1 day course of GRASS GIS by Markus
Neteler and Markus Metz.

The complete summer school will be broadcasted live over Ustream and
this will give you the opportunity 
to follow the seminars for free.
