Mapping Across Borders, a Canadian Non-Profit Organization, will be
holding a five day mapping seminar in Kisumu, Kenya from August 22 to
August 26, 2011 at the Milimani Resort Hotel in partnership with World
Neighbours, Kenya. This seminar will teach GIS from the ground up and
focus on its practical uses for NGOs and Civil Society groups; all are
welcome to attend. The cost for the training will be 6000KSH (approx.
$82USD) and will include snacks and a lunch each day (participants who
wish to stay at the hotel and attend the seminar can do so for 22,000KSH
– approx. $302 USD).
