Hi Tim

Thanks for the info. We are developing on Windows OS and I don't think we
have allocated time and resources to port to a linux system at this time.

Its defiantly a worthy excise to list possible OSGEO hosting solutions for
both Windows and Linux as I found a lot of technical staff from hosting
companies not understanding GIS or knowing what postGIS is. The postGreSQL
website provides a list of hosts but non in Africa whcih makes support and
communication difficult.

I have a short list so far with a few possible candidates and can keep the
African node posted.
