Hi Anand,
I just sent the link to the LearnOSM, I am not part of that project
To find other materials for OSM, search google
For QGIS, they have a good manual : http://qgis.org/en/documentation/manuals.html
Also look here for lots of materials : http://www.osgeo.org/educational_content
here also : http://elogeo.nottingham.ac.uk/

Hi All,
OpenStreetMap and QGIS
http://www.learnosm.org/
LearnOSM.org<http://learnosm.org/> provides a simple-to-use, step by step approach to learning how to make maps with OpenStreetMap. If you are new to OSM the Beginner’s Guide is the best place to start. Over seven chapters this guide shows how to get started with OSM, how to start mapping, and how you can use tools such as GPS, aerial photos, and pens and paper to make maps that anyone can use.
The QGIS Tutorial offers more advanced tutorials on how to do things with OpenStreetMap. In contrast to the Beginner’s Guide, this blog is not structured in any particular order. Rather, articles are written based on requests from users.
