[OSGeo Africa] GIS Day

Hi Antony,

Hope all is well with you.

Although GIS Day was created by ESRI, I really think it is important to
use this day (like you said, whenever the day works with Southern
hemisphere schedules) to promote our spatial passion, to the young kids,
our future.  Sometimes I see events at the University level but they
failed to invite teachers and students from the local high schools: it's
imperative that we involve the kids at the earlier education levels to
spread the importance of geography (nothing to do with software whatsoever).
