The Chief Directorate: National Geo-spatial Information has an official National Map, at a scale of 1: 1000 000 or 1:2500 000


There are larger scale maps at 1: 250K, 1: 50K as part of the national Series.

Hi All

I am busy completing the open data census for South Africa
(http://okfnlabs.org/opendatacensus/country/) - we have two datasets
missing,

1. Is there an official source for a national map (1:250000 or better)?
2. Is there a source of environmental pollutants (even if incomplete)?
