Dear OSGEO list members,

I plan to publish a new low-cost ebook on geological remote sensing at the end of November this year. The book is aimed especially at geologists and geology students in Africa, Asia and South America, using free or low-cost data and FOSS software. It will be available in all main ebook formats, and can be purchased through all the main ebook distributors. The price will be US$5 or UK£3, and by February 2014 will be supplemented by a training manual for home study, with a comprehensive training data set.
