[OSGeo Africa] Call for Abstracts: AfricaGEO 2014

The AfricaGEO 2014 Conference & Exhibition aims at facilitating
interaction, discussion, collaboration and capacity building amongst
participants.
 
Organised by South African Geomatics Associations, this second
AfricaGEO will build on the proud tradition of the Conference of
Southern African Surveyors (CONSAS), which first started in 1961. The
conference is fully supported by PLATO, SAGI, GISSA, the Hydrographic
Society of South Africa, the Institute of Mining Surveyors of South
Africa, the Association of Aircraft Survey Companies and the Department
of Rural Development and Land Reform,
 
You are invited to participate in AfricaGEO 2014 - Developing Geomatics
in Africa. The conference will focus on doing business in Africa and
African Land Reform.
 
The Organising Committee invite authors to submit their abstracts. This
Call for Abstracts is announced for both Peer Reviewed and Non-Peer
Reviewed papers. Detailed information and important dates are below.
 
There are two paper tracks to select from:
 
ACADEMIC TRACK (double blind peer review) - full papers
CRITICAL DATES
Submission deadline for peer-review full papers    29 November 2013
Acceptance/rejection of papers and reviewer feedback to authors 13
January 2014
Re-submission deadline for peer-review papers    27 January 2014
Author registration deadline 23 May 2014
 
INDUSTRY TRACK (non-peer review) - papers describing Geomatics industry
projects
CRITICAL DATES
Abstract submission deadline    13 January 2014
Acceptance/rejection of abstract 20 February 2014
Submission deadline for non-peer review full papers 28 March 2014
Acceptance/rejection of papers    17 April 2014
Author registration deadline    23 May 2014
