[OSGeo Africa] Shapefile

You should be aware that the use of shapefile data from the Surveyor 
Generals office does not have the copyright holders permission.

In the late 1990's this was discussed and the surveyor generals went 
ahead anyway. We will be discussing shortly the conditions under-which 
such data may be used with the copyright holders permission and 
licensing agreements will be drawn up in due course.
