[OSGeo Africa] Geological Data

Hi All

I am sending a request on behalf of a colleague. He is looking for
shapefiles with geological data, similar to what is shown on
geological maps. Any additional sub-surface information (borehole core
logs, geophysical surveys and so on) would be a bonus.

Any help would be appreciated
