Good luck Tshifhiwa,

QGIS joins can be tricky.  Its a good idea to get your list into DBF format
before linking with the cadastral layer. Try in Excel (?) save as CSV then
in QGIS open CSV, save as SHP, then open the DBF.  Keep an eye on your
column text formats, esp. IDs and phone numbers.
