[OSGeo Africa] Suburbs shapefile for Gauteng

There is a set through AfriGIS. Just not sure how up to date they are with regards to Demarcation Board boundaries.

Also not sure about costs.

In not aware of any geometry that available for suburbs. Suburbs originate from postal addresses so perhaps try Post Office ( good lead). I might be wrong here.

Why not consider using wards ? You would also be able to get more attributive (demographic) data associated to wards or even EA's.
