[OSGeo Africa] Free South African Aerial Imagey WMS Layer

Hi All,

Very please to see others using my http://aerial.openstreetmap.org.za/ site :-)

I *REALLY* hate WMS! It overloads servers and is impractical to cache.

But here is a unsupported WMS URL:
http://aerial.openstreetmap.org.za/wms-ngi-aerial

If it gets abused / overloads the server I will disable it.
Please play nice.
The overview layer is required for zoomed out.

I'll chat to NGI to see about getting an update for the imagery.
Anyone in Cape Town willing to collect the files for me?

To see the filenames (with dates) enable the filename overlay layer
(top right) eg:
http://aerial.openstreetmap.org.za/?zoom=15&lat=-33.95129&lon=25.56588&layers=B0T
