Dear OSGeo Community,

we are pleased to inform you that Google has announced GSoC 2016 [1,2]. 
In case OSGeo gets accepted as mentoring organisation, we (madi&anne[3])
are consideringto admin also this year. If there are more volunteers,
this is the right time to show upand contact us, this list, or the
dedicated soc list [4] before February, 2016.See the timeline here [5].

Looking forward for another successful open geospatial GSoC!
