[OSGeo Africa] SASDI.GOV.ZA - Where is the data?

Thanks Marlene

If you are interested, I would be more than happy to do a call with you with some thoughts on how to improve the portal to make it usable and useful. Currently I am struggling with even the most simple operations like finding the proper CSW end point so I can add it as a service in the metasearch catalogue search tool in QGIS. And doing a simple search for ‘roads’ in the web search UI just times out.

Any apologies, I am not trying to come across as hypercritical here, I am just enthusiastic to use the services and the site isn’t providing me with obvious workflows to do that.

Regards

Tim

Those should be the primary use cases….then hide away all the other stuff that is on the landing page because it is probably of zero to very low interest to 99.99% of your users.
