How many photos are there that need georeferencing?

I have historical imagery for the City of Cape Town for 1951 that I would
like to orthorectify. The flight plans only show that the company that flew
it was AOC. The negatives themselves give no further information.

Approaching NGI and AAM have yielded no results for a possible camera
calibration certificate.

Does anybody have any possible routes to follow? Eg. Possible uni studies or
historical imagery enthusiasts, with contact details.

The imagery has 9 fiducials which are cross hairs.
