[OSGeo Africa] South african rivers dataset

The NFEPA rivers layer on BGIS (www.bgis.sanbi.org) has names.  It's basically a 1:500K layer, though, so not fine scale.  There will be a new version coming out in the next few months, but at a similar scale.

Hi All

I am looking for any free public dataset that has got river names in 
either  English or Afrikaans.

The NGI 1in50k rivers have features labeled in all languages  i.e

* THOMAS RIVER
  * CALEDON RIVER
  * KWAKHELEKETHE STREAM

Does such a dataset exists ?.
