*Invitation to the South African Young Geomatics Network (SAYGN) *
*1st Meeting in Limpopo and Gauteng*
The SAYGN is part of the FIG (International Federation of Surveyors). FIG
is the premier international organisation representing the interests of
surveyors worldwide. It is a federation of the national member associations
and covers the whole range of professional fields within the global
surveying, geomatics, geodesy and geo-information community. It provides an
international forum for discussion and development aiming to promote
professional practice and standards.
The FIG YSN (Young Surveyors Network) is a vibrant group of Geomatics youth
around in the world.
The organisation looks to:
•Ensure the future of the surveying profession
•Promote the work of FIG and the 10 FIG Commissions.
•Organise events around the world within our Regional Networks.
•Collaborate with other like-minded industries and professions.
If this interest you and are between the ages of 18 to 35 years, join us at
our 1st meetings in Limpopo and Gauteng.
