Betreff: LIivestreaming during GEOSTAT summer school - Free analysis of spatio-temporal data including GRASS GIS<BR>

Dear all,<BR>
<BR>
the GEOSTAT Summer school 2011 in Landau will run from the 24th to the 31st of July in Landau and focuses on <BR>
important aspects of statistical analysis of spatial and spatio-temporal data using open source / free GIS tools: <BR>
R, SAGA GIS,GRASS GIS, FWTools, Google Earth and similar. The course participants learn how to move data <BR>
back and forth between the different environments; how to produce scripts and automate analysis.<BR>
The summer school will include a 1 day course of GRASS GIS by Markus Neteler and Markus Metz.<BR>
<BR>
The complete summer school will be broadcasted live over Ustream and this will give you the opportunity <BR>
to follow the seminars for free.<BR>
