<html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; "><div><div>Call for papers for the peer-reviewed academic track of GISSA Ukubuzana 2012</div></div><div><br></div><div>Conference theme: 'An African Dialogue: Geomatics for Infrastructure Development and Service Delivery' <br><div><br></div><div>Date: 2-4 October 2012 </div><div>Venue: Emperors Palace, Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa </div><div><br></div><div><div><div>Authors are invited to submit full-text academic papers, approximately 5000 words in length and relevant to the themes and subject matter of the conference, for the peer-reviewed academic track at the GISSA Ukubuzana 2012 conference.<br><br><div>GISSA Ukubuzana 2012 is primarily aimed at leaders, academics, professionals, technologists, technicians, students and companies in the public and private sectors involved with or interested in geographic information science (GIS), information and communication technology (ICT), global positioning systems (GPS), surveying, remote sensing, and location-based applications and business.<br><br>Academic papers must be original and previously unpublished, and must be submitted using the on-line paper submission system for the academic track: <a href="https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=gissaukubuzana2012">https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=gissaukubuzana2012</a><br><br>Papers submitted for the academic track will be selected on the basis of significance, relevance, correctness, originality and clarity by a panel of academic reviewers following a double-blind peer-review process.<br><br>Upon acceptance, the revised peer-reviewed full academic paper will be published with an ISBN in the printed Proceedings of the GISSA Ukubuzana 2012 Conference (ISBN 978-0-620-52913-6), as well as on the conference CD and website.
