[Australia] FOSS4G in Australia

I made some enquiries a few months back about hosting FOSS4G in Australia.

These guys are sponsored by the Australian Government and sound like 
they are prepared to do a lot of the hack work in getting a conference 
off the ground.

I'm having a meeting with them tomorrow.

Do any of you have any comments/suggestions about whether we should 
investigate this further, get involved etc.
