Many thanks for the suggestion which we think is a good idea and fits in with
our general thinking on this issue  OSDM has been discussing the metadata and
GeoNetwork issues recently and either later today or tomorrow, John Weaver
will post a message describing our thinking and suggestions for the way
forward, aiming to bring together the specific GeoNetwork related activities
across the community and also those indirectly related activities that
impinge on the broader metadata space.
 
I hope you and the others involved will see the value in our suggestions, so
please let us know once you have seen our suggestions.
