[Geoinquiets Barcelona] Fwd: [geocomp] Special Issue on Spatial Analysis/Statistics in JSTATSOFT

Hi all,

Since we all work with spatial data:

The Journal of Statistical Software (http://www.jstatsoft.org/) just
published a special issue on spatial analysis/statistics (+/v63). If you
don't know the journal: I think they do a great job in linking theory and
application. Each article consists of a theoretical introduction, followed
by a step by step implementation in R.

For instance http://www.jstatsoft.org/v63/i19 is a refreshing brainteaser
for all those, who usually solved interpolation problems by pressing the
IDW botton in ArcGIS...good luck!!
