[OSGeo.be-Announce] Programme available and Registration open for FOSS4G.BE 2018 - Oct 25

Hi all,

We are happy to announce that the programme for our fourth FOSS4G-BE is 
online now, and registration is open:

We have an exciting programme (https://2018.foss4g.be/programme.php), 
mixing general public presentations on applications using free and open 
source software for geo, with examples of their use in academic 
research, news from regional administrations and some more advanced 
presentations of libraries and technologies. Once again, thanks to our 
generous sponsors (https://2018.foss4g.be/sponsors.php), the event is 
free, but registration is mandatory.

As in the past years, presentations in the main track will be in Dutch 
and French with live translation. For English speakers, there will 
always be English presentations in one of the side tracks.

Please note: Contrary to past years, we do not propose the option to 
order a sandwich at registration. So you will have to bring your own 
lunch or get something from the building's restaurant or places around 
the building.

I hope to see all of you in Brussels on the 25th of October!

programma van onze vierde FOSS4G-BE online staat, en dat registraties 
geopend zijn:

We hebben een spannend programma (https://2018.foss4g.be/programme.php), 
waarin we algemene publieke presentaties over toepassingen met vrije en 
open source software voor geo combineren met voorbeelden van het gebruik 
ervan in academisch onderzoek, nieuws van regionale overheden en enkele 
meer geavanceerde presentaties van bibliotheken en technologieën. 
Opnieuw is het evenement gratis dankzij onze gulle sponsors 
(https://2018.foss4g.be/sponsors.php), maar registratie is verplicht.

Net als in de voorbije jaren zullen de presentaties in het hoofdzaal in 
het Nederlands en Frans zijn met live vertaling. Voor Engelstaligen zijn 
er altijd Engelse presentaties in één van de zijsporen.

Opgelet: In tegenstelling tot de voorbije jaren, stellen we niet voor om 
een broodje te bestellen bij de inschrijving. U dient dus zelf een lunch 
mee te brengen of iets te halen uit het restaurant van het gebouw of 
plaatsen rondom het gebouw

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer que le programme de notre 3ème 
conférence FOSS4G-BE est désormais en ligne et que les inscriptions sont 
ouvertes.

Nous sommes ravis du programme (https://2018.foss4g.be/programme.php) de 
cette année qui mélange présentations générales sur des applications géo 
utilisant des logiciels libres avec des exemples de leur usage dans la 
recherche scientifique, des nouvelles des administrations régionales et 
quelques présentations plus poussées sur des technologies et librairies 
intéressantes.

Tout comme lors des deux dernières éditions, les sujets traités lors des 
sessions plénières feront l'objet d'une traduction instantanée en 
français et en néerlandais. Pour les anglophones, une attention 
particulière leur est réservée puisqu'il y aura toujours une 
présentation en anglais dans l'un des parcours de conférence.

Attention: contrairement aux années précédentes, nous ne proposons pas 
la possibilité de réserver un sandwich lors de l'inscription. Il faudra 
donc amener votre propre déjeuner ou en acheter dans le restaurant du 
bâtiment ou dans des lieux aux alentours.
