[Belgium] Call for presentations FOSS4G NL&BE 2024 -- Deadline: 8 juli 2024

Beste gebruikers, liefhebbers en makers van opensource-geotoepassingen,

Eind september vindt de gezamenlijke Belgisch-Nederlandse FOSS4G plaats: 
hét evenement waarin opensource-GIS centraal staat. Dat doen we 
uiteraard samen! We vragen je dan ook je aan te melden als spreker (of 
workshopgever) als je iets leuks/goeds/interessants te melden hebt. Dat 
mag breed geïnterpreteerd worden: het kan een verhaal betreffen over een 
nieuw gemaakt stukje open software, een implementatietraject, de manier 
waarop OSGeo nieuwe samenwerking heeft ondersteund, een goed afgerond 
project waarbij de inzet van open software handig/interessant/logisch 
was, hoe het onderwijs profiteert van open software… of weer iets heel 
anders.

We zien je bijdrage graag uiterlijk maandag 8 juli tegemoet! En als je 
twijfelt of je inzending goed genoeg is: dat hebben we allemaal gehad. 
En uiteindelijk blijkt vaak dat je juist in zo’n geval een paar mensen 
die in een vergelijkbare situatie terecht kwamen enorm helpt met je 
verhaal. Dus twijfel gerust, maar stuur wel in!

Gezien het meerlandige karakter van deze bijeenkomst kan je bijdrage in 
het Nederlands, Frans of Engels gegeven worden: aan jou de keuze.

Fin septembre se tiendra la conférence FOSS4G Belgo-Néerlandaise: 
l’événement où la géomatique Open Source sera mise à l’honneur. 
Naturellement, nous le ferons ensemble ! Nous vous invitons donc à vous 
inscrire en tant qu’orateur (ou animateur d’atelier) si vous avez 
quelque chose d’intéressant à partager. Cela peut prendre différentes 
formes : une présentation sur les nouveautés d’un logiciel open source, 
l’appui de l’OSGeo dans une collaboration, un projet dans lequel 
l’utilisation de logiciels open source a été pertinente... ou bien 
quelque chose de complètement différent.

L'appel à contributions est ouvert jusqu'au lundi 8 juillet ! Si vous 
avez des doutes sur la qualité de votre proposition, sachez que nous 
avons tous déjà été dans cette situation. Osez partager vos idées, vos 
recherches et vos expériences. Vous ne savez jamais à qui cela pourrait 
profiter. Votre contribution pourrait aider d’autres personnes qui se 
trouvent dans une situation similaire, à trouver une solution ou à voir 
les choses sous un nouvel angle. Alors, n’hésitez pas à soumettre votre 
contribution !

Comme cette conférence s’annonce trilingue, vous pouvez rédiger votre 
proposition dans la langue que vous souhaitez: en français, en 
néerlandais ou en anglais.

Dear users, enthusiasts, and developers of open source geographic 
applications,

At the end of September, the Belgian-Dutch FOSS4G conference will be 
held: the event where Open Source geomatics will be highlighted. 
Naturally, we will do this together! Therefore, we invite you to 
register as a speaker (or workshop facilitator) if you have something 
interesting to share. This can take various forms: a presentation on the 
latest developments in open source software, OSGeo's support in a 
collaboration, a project where the use of open source software has been 
significant... or something entirely different.

The call for contributions is open until Monday, July 8! If you have 
doubts about the quality of your proposal, know that we have all been in 
that situation before. Dare to share your ideas, your research, and your 
experiences. You never know who it might benefit. Your contribution 
could help others in a similar situation to find a solution or see 
things from a new perspective. So, don’t hesitate to submit your 
contribution!

As this conference is set to be trilingual, you can write your proposal 
in the language of your choice: French, Dutch, or English.
