Markus,

Briefly the status is that several servers are now available at
Telascience and are setup with base operating system software, and
using the LDAP authentication for users.

But we haven't had much progress on installing specific software
packages (I may be a bit behind on this).  The geodata folks have
a server and they have been doing some work on it.  I think there
is a problem getting media wiki to speak to LDAP so that is stalled
though I have been away for a bit.

Generally speaking SAC is not really operating in any sort of cohesive
manner.
