Chris / Jo,

I would be pleased to plan on having the preceeding Monday as a F2F
OSGeo day.  I could also go with the following Saturday though it doesn't
sound idea for Jo.

I also think it would be desirable to get word out about this, perhaps with
the intention of having part of the day be open to anyone with an interest
to participate.

I'd really love to have a "binary packaging sprint" for half a day somewhere
in this conference.  I have already scheduled a BOF on the general topic in
the hopes of soliciting ideas and getting something more concrete going
(assuming this isn't accomplished before hand).
