I think Arnulf is suggesting it be something like
fossgis at conference.osgeo.org. This implies (quite sensibly in my
opinion) that the conference.osgeo.org project would support more
than just the main international conference. That is, it could be
used as a resource for those setting up regional, or national
conferences.
My suggestion for list name might be "fossgis_de at conference.osgeo.org"
to ensure it is clearly the German FOSSGIS conference, but whatever
Arnulf wants is fine.
