Tyler,

sorry but no, you cannot use the site's MTA as your outgoing mail
server.

However, I don't think it will look like you are spoofing.  Very many
people have mail coming out of one domain that has another domain's
address on it.  If you are concerned about enabling people to verify
whether messages come from you, you should sign your messages with
S/MIME or PGP.
