Ho,
I like this idea and it would be good to have a slot like this reserved
for OSGeo projects. (Mind me I am totally ignorant of the current state of
planning and do not want to cause a mess. Just ignore it if) I remember
that there was some bad feelings when not all OSGeo projects could have a
workshop (which will be impossible as we grow anyway). But it should at
least be possible for each project to present itself and maybe it would
make sense to somehow mark those slots.

I must admit that I did not really like the discussion last year too much.
It is too many people for a real discussion, Chicks - ahm - Birds of a
Feather sessions are much better. What can 150 or more people possibly
earnestly "discuss".

Yes - and if it would be possible to stream some of the stuff for all
those poor guys and girls who wont make it to down under so much the
better.
