Hello Ravi,

I fully agree with the points you mentionned here.

I also think that the more the charter members will be involved, the more
democratic and efficient decisions could be.

It would indeed increase charter members participation and OSGeo would
become even more stronger.

Some time ago i have created a wiki page for sharing ideas about the
charter members roles, so I invite you to add yours directly there:
