[Board] FOSS4G 2012

On the good news, bad news front:

Good news: I'm hearing anecdotal reports of management types talking
about the Beijing as a nice conference / junket opportunity, though it
would fall to the program committee to create a suitable high concept
program for that kind of audience.

Bad news: My well-travelled colleague in Victoria is advocating we
start working on getting our VISAs in order well in advance. Folks
less travelled may leave such matters until far too late and end up
not attending.
