[Board] Fwd: [Foss4g2012] Meeting summary of FOSS4G 2012 meeting (3rd, July)

Reading those meeting minutes I think the board should indeed immediately announce that the conference will be cancelled! There is no venue, no conference organizer and we are just two months before the scheduled dates. People will start to make bookings and honestly I would go after OSGeo if I did and the whole event did not exist while I made expenses.
Please hurry up and officially cancel the event now.
Kind regards,
Jeroen

Specifically, we need to announce to the community that the 2012 international FOSS4G event is not happening (although there might be a small regional event). We need to act to clarify the side-channel discussions and rumors that continue to go on about this.
