Don't worry Jáchym.

Talking as a board member, I want OSGeo to be a welcoming place for
new projects and communities. I sincerely think mailing lists are our
best asset. So no need for incubation or anything apart from being
Open Source, just a warm offer and let they came, and once they are
with us and evolve, we can suggest to enter incubation, join OSGeo
Live or any other activity we think it's worth.

I get Maxi's point on having the board in the loop of what's going on
at committees, even this particular request is, in my opinion, not
important enough to need an approval or discussion.


And now as a mailman co-admin, I've never had to discuss about a
mailing list ticket, if it's a local chapter or interest group, or a
software project we know about, any of the mailman admins (Frank,
Martin or me) create the list and that's all.
