[Board] Discussing Open Letter re LiDAR format at OSGeo Board meeting

Hi Jeff, board,

I've added a line item to the OSGeo Board meeting to discuss the Open 
Letter currently being drafted to request OGC/ESRI don't fragment LiDAR 
standards.

I won't be making this meeting. (1am for me - my OSGeo enthusiasm has 
limits). I think Suchith will be off the grid in rural India.

Jeff,
Would you mind talking to it. In particular, could you please raise a 
motion to determine if the OSGeo board are prepared to officially 
present this letter.

Martin, I'm not sure if you will be available to attend the IRC meeting 
and answer any questions the board may have?
