Thanks for your support and efforts.
To move things forward and make it consistent, i will follow up this with ASPRS also as done with Esri and OGC. I will cc in OSGeo Board in my email to ASPRS.
So i will email Stewart Walker (President ASPRS) cc in President-Elect, Past President and Vice President of ASPRS also.

Hi Cameron,
Personally I think you all did a great job distributing the letter; as
you did already, I believe you should choose a leader active in the
community to share the letter (as you did for Esri, OGC, etc). Do you
know someone from OSGeo involved in ASPRS?
