Thank you Vasile for volunteering,

It should be good to try to make a shedule for travels for next year, so
we can manage our budget with more accuracy. This should be based on
1. travels we support this year to attend events (using the known budget
for these)
2. events we want to attend, for strategic reasons (fulfilling the
mission of OSGeo)
3. keep a reservation budget from the total travel budget to be able to
act on opportunities not foreseen.

If we could start a list of events the board wants to support by
attending, this could be a good start.

I think it is a good idea to attend the FOSS4G-AR, because it SA is not
yet very well represented in OSGeo and there is the language barrier.
I assume that SA is very active on Open Source projects, but I don't
have a good idea about the communities and the activities going on.
