[Board] Request to appoint the GSoC 2017 Team members

Dear Board,


As you may know, the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2017 program was
announced earlier in October, and it would be great to have OSGeo involved
as a mentor organization yet again (2017 will be our 11th application,
dating back to 2007!).

I’m writing to request to be officially appointed as primary GSoC admin,
with the following co-admins: Helmut Kudrnovsky, Florin-Daniel Cioloboc,
Guillermo Pizarro, and Jeff McKenna. We would like to thank Anne again for
all of her efforts over the years, and we are so very glad that she is
still willing to help and provide her experience occasionally when needed.

With such a dream team I am confident that we will be able to act to the
best of our possibilities, in the case that OSGeo is approved once again in
the program.

The application is due at the end of January.


Would you please add this motion to the agenda of the next board meeting?
