thanks for the update, since I'm involved in the Open Geoscience committee too, and it has also no budget in 2016, I will propose a budget request for both the committee: "UN" and "Geosci" comm.

today in the Board meeting we discussed two important issues:

1) Committee Guidelines: we are asking every Committee to define their guidelines and made them available to the Board. Once the Board has revised and accepted the guidelines, we can make them available to everybody (this improves a lot the transparency that every of us want to reach).

I'm kindly asking you to  provide the Board the Guidelines for GeoForAll and the UN Committee.

We have decided to give the different Committees the liberty of proposing their guidelines instead of imposing just one guideline to all of them.


2) We want to assign a 2017 budget to the Committees. G4A, if your Committee, Suchith, agrees, will given as was proposed for 2016. If you have special or new exigencies, please write now to me and I will bring your request to the Board.

UN Committee had no budget and therefore, Maxi, can you send me a proposal about your request for 2017? (items and related budgets)
