Dear Maria,

Tomorrow<calendar:T5:Tomorrow> I will have the honor to launch the “Global Statement for Indoor Maps as Accessible, Open Data” by ILA, OGC and i-locate at the closing plenary of GeoIoT World Conference.

This is the climax of a long cooperation between the InLocationAlliance, the Open Geospatial Consortium and the i-locate project funded by the European Commission, to promote the importance of open data for indoor mapping, especially of public spaces.

The goal is to forward the statement to decision makers to show the importance of fostering an open data approach for indoor mapping.
