[Board] [OGC Portal] OGC Compliance Renewal Notification (30 Day Expiration Notice)

One of the ideas floated at the breakfast with partners was to see if we
could make better use of our relationship with the OGC and include more of
our projects in the CITE certification program (possibly even reference
implementations since our software is available for free download and can
qualify as such).

As a GeoServer project steering committee member the project is interested
in CITE certification. We have always held off due to a) time/resources b)
server to run reference implementation. I imagine that other OSGeo
projects face a similar constraint.

Finally the CITE Test Engine itself was entered into incubation, and has
not made any progress. The OGC would like to revisit the benefits of this
relationship, which would explain the lack of progress.
