Really looking forward to seeing everyone in Bonn, and taking part in the
F2F and Members meeting.

We have a couple of activities to coordinate for regional events, I am
going to focus on foss4gna and volunteer to do the logistics. The schedule
<https://2018.foss4g-na.org/overview> is already pretty booked!

1) osgeo attendance / board member presence

As Michael knows from previous last minuet booth setup, without a local
chapter to lean on the board members and/or marketing committee end up
being responsible for our presence in the exhibitor space.

The good news is our booth materials from Boston were shipped to St Louis
and are available to setup. I believe Jeff has one of the pop-up banners
which he could also bring. I would like to confirm our materials before
printing any replacements.

I am hopeful that our North American board members can attend, and do so in
a formal capacity. Can I ask for confirmation, and if any travel assistance
is needed:

- Helena Mitasova
- Jeff McKenna
- Michael Smith
- Jody Garnett - as a conference organizer I do not need any registration
covered, and am making arrangements for accomidation. I will check my
finances with respect to travel.

2) Schedule a Members meeting for FOSS4GNA

The obvious time would be as part of Thursday May 17 community/workshops
day, as part of the afternoon allowing a smooth transition into a social.
The downside is that many attendees will be running for the airport and/or
occupied sprinting.

The next candidate would be a short birds-of-a-feather style meeting on
Monday before the icebreaker reception.

3) Schedule a Sponsors/Partners meeting

This was a valuable activity in Boston, and one we were asked to repeat. I
would like to recommend Tuesday May 15th, providing connections and context
ahead of exhibitors reception where we may be called on for introductions.
