[Board] [OSGeo-Conf] FOSS4G TGP experiences

Dear Maria,

thank you for the strong statement, especially for me (as chair), for the whole conference committee and of course for our community. Your statement clearly shows, how important TGP should be for our community and also *why*.

In the next 1-2 weeks I really want to work out a proposal on how to extend TGP from global also to regional OSGeo events - you remember, we just had this one case for the Oceanian chapter. I know, that we as CC will not spend all of our TGP-budget for this year. I think this is because there was simply no procedure on how to get OSGeo suport for TGP for regional events, but this is exactly what we want to change for next year - and of course we rely on the support from the board (and the community as a whole) ;-)
